Thierry Henry for many remains the greatest player in Premier League history, having starred as the division’s finest footballer for much of a glittering career at Arsenal.

Henry scored a record-breaking 226 goals across all competitions for the Gunners and won two league titles during his time in north London, alongside winning a record four Premier League Golden Boots.

Amongst the finest individual seasons of Henry’s career came during the 2002/03 campaign, as the forward became the first – and so far only – player to reach 20+ for goals and assists in a single Premier League season.

Only Lionel Messi has since replicated that feat across Europe’s five major leagues, an indication of the incredible influence Henry had over Arsenal’s iconic sides of the early 2000s.

The below video remembers Thierry Henry’s unforgettable 2002/03 season.
