Kevin De Bruyne may just be the best creative midfielder in world football right now, the star having been a shining light in the Manchester City side in recent seasons.

De Bruyne’s influence has been well-documented with the brilliant Belgium having been the heartbeat of Pep Guardiola’s all-conquering Man City side, becoming the first player in Premier League history to register 15+ assists in three separate seasons.

The most productive of those seasons came in 2019/20 as De Bruyne equalled the single season record for Premier League assists, providing 20 goals for his teammates to equal Thierry Henry’s incredible 2002/03 campaign.

De Bruyne recently moved into the all-time top 10 for assists with 77 in 178 appearances, his ratio of 0.43 assists per game far superior than any of the players he is looking to catch in the coming years.

Currently second for assists in the Premier League this season, he needs just three more to level with David Beckham as he continues his ascent up the all-time rankings.

Given the service the Belgium international has regularly provided in recent seasons, that looks just a matter of time with few in world football possessing his vision and passing range.

Here are all 20 of Kevin De Bruyne’s assists from a record-equalling 2019/20 season.
